Genus: Mylochromis
Biotope: Sandy habitat.
Geographic distribution: Lake Malawi; recorded only at Luwala Reef.
Diet: Picks invertebrates from the surface of the sand.
Special notes: This species has been found only once, at Luwala Reef, where it occurred together with Caprichromis liemi. Very little information is available about its biology.
