Placidochromis sp. 'longimanus chirombo' Chirombo Bay
Genus: Placidochromis
Geographic distribution: Recorded from Chirombo Bay and at depths of about 20–50 m.
Biotope: Observed at depths ranging between 20–50 m; specific habitat characteristics are not documented.
Special notes: Member of the longimanus group of Placidochromis species. Only very few individuals have been observed and photographed, and detailed information on its ecology and behavior is lacking.
