Placidochromis sp. 'longimanus namiasi' South East Arm
Genus: Placidochromis
Geographic distribution: Namiasi Bay and south of Boadzulu Island in the southern part of Lake Malawi.
Biotope: Recorded at a depth of about 30 m; specific habitat characteristics are not documented.
Special notes: Member of a group of similar-looking species closely related to Placidochromis longimanus. Only very few individuals have been observed and photographed, and detailed information on its ecology and behavior is lacking.
