Sciaenochromis sp. 'small interorbital' Wissmann Bay
Genus: Sciaenochromis
Biotope: Deep-water habitats.
Special notes: A deep-water form reported in the literature. It resembles Sciaenochromis psammophilus in general appearance but is characterized by a narrower interorbital region. It is one of several undescribed deep-water members of the genus mentioned by Snoeks & Hanssens (2004).
