Sciaenochromis sp. 'spot bicuspid' Chilola Bay
Genus: Sciaenochromis
Biotope: Deep-water habitats.
Special notes: Characterized by three distinct, round spots on the body, a feature typically associated with Stigmatochromis rather than Sciaenochromis. However, its overall morphology is considered more similar to Sciaenochromis benthicola. It is one of several undescribed deep-water forms reported by Snoeks & Hanssens (2004).
