Lake Malawi at the Maleri Islands.
Diet:
Feeds by raking loose Aufwuchs from rocks, taking mainly algae and associated material.
Aggression:
Despite its name, this species is described as not very aggressive.
Special notes:
This undescribed species occurs mainly in very shallow water, possibly as a result of
the high number of algae-combing mbuna present around the Maleri Islands.
