Pseudotropheus sp. 'kingsizei tumbi' Tumbi Point
Genus: Pseudotropheus
Biotope: Sediment-free intermediate habitat along a steep rocky coast, occurring at depths between 15–25 m.
Geographic distribution: Endemic to the rocky coast of Tumbi Point in Mozambique, Lake Malawi.
Sexual dimorphism: Females show a beige body with a few broad, tapering brown bars, widest near the dorsal fin; males defend territories centered on small holes excavated under or between rocks.
Breeding: Males defend small territories centered on excavated holes beneath or between rocks.
Special notes: A tiny mbuna restricted to Tumbi Point, associated with deeper sediment-free intermediate habitats.
