Special notes:
Known only from two museum specimens of approximately 9 cm total
length, which may represent juveniles. The collection site is not
recorded, and the species has not been specifically identified in
the field. It was placed in Mchenga based on the presence of
small bicuspid teeth in the outer rows of the jaws of adult males.
