Običajna odrasla velikost: 13 cm / 10 cm
Priporočljiva velikost akvarija: 300 L
Ureditev akvarija: Zagotoviti je potrebno dovolj skal in skrivališč, kamor se lahko poskrijejo šibkejši predstavniki. Minimalna velikost akvarija naj bo 300 L in vsaj 120 cm dolžine.
Hrana: Rastlinojed. Prehranjuje se z strganjem alg iz aufwuchsa.
Agresivnost: Agresivna znotraj vrste, do preostalih vrst pa v glavnem tolerantna.
