Mbenji Island is part of Mbenji Islands Group. Other islands in this group are Kampambe, Ababi, Penga Penga and Fuawe Island.
Kampambe Island left top, Mbenji Island in the middle, Ababi Island next to Mbenji Island and Penga Penga Island in front of Ababi Island.
Kampambe Island left, Mbenji Island right. Depending on water levels in the Lake the narrow piece of land between the two Islands either separates or connects them.
