Biotope: Rocky habitat
Typical adult size: Males up to 11 cm; females up to 9 cm
Recommended aquarium size: Minimum 250 litres
Aquarium setup: Rock-dominated layout with numerous stones forming shelters and passages; keep one male with several females
Diet: Omnivorous; in nature feeds mainly on plankton and algae
Aggression: Can be aggressive towards conspecifics; generally tolerant towards other species
