Genus: Tramitichromis
Special notes: A form from Likoma Island that was previously regarded as a form of Tramitichromis variabilis, but is now treated as a distinct entity. It lacks the diagonal band characteristic of the second (to be described) species present in the type material of T. variabilis, and the anterior blade of the lower pharyngeal bone is described as steeply inclined.
