Genus: Pseudotropheus
Biotope: Rocky habitat with dark caves at depths between 10–30 m.
Geographic distribution: Appears to be restricted to Likoma Island, Lake Malawi.
Diet: Feeds by nipping aufwuchs from the rocks.
Special notes: A small species apparently related to Pseudotropheus minutus, but inhabiting much deeper regions of the rocky habitat.
