Geographic distribution: Southern Lake Malawi; recorded from the SE Arm trawl grounds.
Biotope: Demersal offshore habitat; exact depth range not precisely documented.
Special notes: Undescribed offshore species mentioned in trawl survey material. Very limited field information is available and it is known from only a small number of specimens.
